GUPCO challenges were mainly in the cost allocation, validations & Substitutions Dual currency, Dual Chart of Account, Dual Fiscal Year and Dual Reporting structure due to the fact that GUPCO is following the Egyptian Governorate Standards and British Petroleum European Standards as a Joint Venture Company.
